You burn lots of calories after your fit20 session. This is known as the afterburn effect and makes your training even more effective.

Your fit20 session uses up tons of energy that is stored in your muscles. This creates a disbalance your body needs to correct after your session. It is like you revved up your car engine to the max for a while, then shut it off. It continues to stay hot for a long time. The same thing happens in your body after resistance training. You get back to your day after training but your body’s metabolism continues to burn more calories. It takes lots of oxygen to restore the disbalance you created with your training. This afterburn effect is substantially greater with heavy resistance training than with ‘traditional cardio’.
